This is getting a little boring to keep writing it each week, but another session of boxing went well at work. I love going to the regular sessions. There are only a few of us each week and now I am getting used to the workouts and it is well and truly ingrained in my schedule.
Work was CRAZY, like actually crazy this week. I was at work for 12 hours on Tuesday, the same on Wednesday and even longer when I headed down to Melbourne for work on Thursday. I need to make a more concerted effort to get up early and go for runs and do workouts.I did have some super tasty tea in Melbourne.
Walk time, made the effort to get up early and get a walk in with Marcus. Also walked around a lot getting errands done instead of using the car which was good. Except when it started raining.
Walk time again, a lot of wandering and whilst no specific workout time I did a LOT of walking. Ended up with over 15,000 steps on my Fitbit! I also had a massage first thing and it was soooooo painful. My upper back, shoulders and neck were so tight. I am headed back again next week too.
So, you may have been expecting to see the City 2 Surf in this spot. I would have, I was fully prepared to and thought I had registered and was ready to run with work until I realised that in fact I had not registered. The $80 price tag deterred me from a last minute entry and instead Marcus and I headed out for a walk in the last weeks of his training for Oxfam.
