A lovely evening for a walk! The sunset was absolutely beautiful. I made a good 4km, its getting slower and slower but I am still getting out there to get my 10,000 steps (just).
Swimming is a winner at the moment. Currently rocking a bikini to accommodate the rapidly expanding waistline so bad luck to anyone who doesn't want to see the bump. My normal distance of 1km is getting tough to do but lots of rests helps and I am well and truly in the slow lane, may need to dig out my fins to give me a little bit of speed back so it doesn't take quite so long. I feel like anything less than 1km is not worth it (need to get over that rapidly given my current 40 min timeframe for 1000m). My back feels so much better after a nice swim too!
Sydney showed off on Saturday and got everyone excited for what is just around the corner - Spring! It was a balmy 26C (82F) and glorious. We headed down to the point in the afternoon after a busy day for yet another 4km walk. Should have tried to add an extra 1km in to make up my Olive5k but I didn't think of the weather report for the week.
Need to likely get a little more creative with workouts this week given its likely to be raining most of the week.
