So baking a nice fresh loaf of bread has been on my list of things to tackle for about, oh, 3 years... I kept thinking it would be really tricky and need proving time and it would deflate or something. It isn't tricky at all...
It is so ridiculously easy.
I used the Laucke Ciabatta mix (I have no affiliation with Laucke, but damn I wish I did) and it was super simple. One box gives you 4 big loaves of bread (you can do it as 2 extra large, but they are too big for my baking tray).
I gave the bread a go for our ladies who lunch a few weeks ago, that was about the 3rd or 4th time I had done it and it was amazing. I made it fresh that morning so it was still a little warm by the time I got to my girlfriends for lunch. So tasty!
Do you make your own bread?
It was a lovely treat and so much easier than I thought it would be!
