Last week was a terrible week. I ended up seeing the physio on Tuesday afternoon to try and sort out my knee issues. Surprise, Surprise it is my ITB - now feeling fab thanks to the great team at Innovations Physio (owned by a lovely friend of mine!). So workouts this week weren't as good as they could have been but I guess better than sitting on my behind.
HRM is packing it in, I think it needed a wash or something. So instead you get a pretty picture of a gumnut baby being stolen by a Banksia Man. I did a session with my trainer, I feel like I am getting weaker by the minute - is that possible?
Ride to work day, so much fun! I did have some user related Garmin issues (had it on Running mode and forgot to turn on AutoPause), but I got there in the end.
I managed a wicked PB on the way home, looking forward to getting it under 50 minutes! Apparently I am a nerd with the visor on my helmet? How do we feel about that, I am already a nerd - I think I should just embrace it.
Friday was community partnership day at work, so I was the first to sign up to help out with these little guys - I headed out to NSW/ACT Guide Dogs. Did you know these little fur balls are $30,000 by the time they are fully trained? Amazing. Yet here they all are wrestling over a gardening glove. Also, that wet patch in the right corner, that is pee. So that was enough of a workout for me.
Gym Time! I headed to the gym on Saturday, seems to be the only time I get there these days. So I did a cardio session - rower, cross-trainer, treadmill sprints and finished with some abs.
This week was going to be better but it is 10pm Monday when I am writing this up and I am missed my Monday workout - being on a plane at 7am tends to wipe out the day. Tomorrow is always there.
