- Resistance bands: Excellent for getting in workouts even in the hotel room. I love using these while on conference calls because they are quiet and easy to use while on the phone. You can be sitting, standing, laying down and still doing some form of strength routine.
- Skipping rope: What better cardio can you get than a skipping rope? It is often tough to actually use this in your hotel room, so I usually find a nearby park and do something like my skipping workout.
- Sliders (or laminated sheets of paper): These are furniture sliders that you can use for You have to replace your laminated sheets of paper pretty often if you are using your feet on them. They are still a great tool for making plank a little more challenging and putting your mountain climbers into overdrive.
There are also some other things you can use to help with recovering from your awesome workout. If you have a Tennis Ball, Golf Ball, Baseball or similar depending on how firm you prefer it. I use a tennis ball at home to roll out my ITB. I am nowhere near hard core enough to do that on the floor. I wedge it between my hips/legs and a wall and lean on it. That is enough to get a good release when my hips get tight.
