It has also been hectic at work, so I promise I will be getting the results out for the February 5k this week!
I went out for a walk, had an absolute cracking headache and lasted 10 minutes. I was surprised as I thought the walk would make it better but not at all. So that was a fail.
Tuesday and Wednesday
Trying to catch up on a months worth of work in a few days meant long days, oztag was called off on Wednesday - sad.
My Pact app got me moving and I headed out for a nice walk along the water!
my awesome new skipping rope arrived today so I managed to get to 5 unbroken double unders and 7 if I followed Sara from Fit for a Bride's tip of bounce, bounce, double under, bounce bounce, double under!
Oh what a lazy Saturday. I did manage to crack out the Kettlebells and skipping rope and get a little workout in.
Sunday was actually quite active this week, well I guess you could call it active but hatha yoga is actually more stretching than anything I think. Anyway, I awas at Lululemon at 9am for my very first yoga session. You may remember it was one of my January goals - better late than never! I liked it. I really like that apparently it isn't frowned upon if you fall asleep during what I can only describe as a little nap period after the end of a class? A friend told me that meant I was doing it right, I am inclined to agree with them.
After yoga it was oztag time. We ran around for an hour in the very hot sun. I have not played tag in about 3 months I think? I did manage to actually catch the ball a few times so I'm considering it a win!
Also I was terrible at taking photos this week! Oops.
Next week is the start of half marathon training, 10 weeks to go! Eep!
