I am very much in support of organ donation and if something should happen to me before my organs are too old to be of any use, I hope they can be used to help someone who needs them. There are friends and family who I know don't want to donate. When I was younger, I would try to convince them otherwise but that is not the point. The point is to know their wishes either way.
So, this week pick up the phone or sit down and talk to your family. It is a good thing to do anyway. Tell them you love them, tell them what your wishes are. Yes, it is morbid. Yes, it is awful to think of losing a loved one. However, wouldn't you prefer to be having the discussion and then know what they wanted if anything should happen?

There is also the another donation of course, pop on down to your local blood bank and give them some of the red stuff. It is always in need! For more information on donating blood in Australia, visit Donate Blood. I gave my 35th donation shortly before coming over to Korea!
