First day of a week in Melbourne and I took a nice walk in the sun up to the grocery store to get some delicious food for the week, including berries, yoghurt and cherries - yum!
Smashed out a huge workout in the hotel gym. As it was a mix of high impact cardio and weight lifting I will split it out as 20 minutes of cardio and 45 minutes of weights: 5 points.
Doing really well with my Fregies and water but didnt manage to get onto FB on Tuesday so only 2 points.
It was ridiculously hot in Melbourne on Wednesday so I took advantage of the hotel pool and did a few laps. I tried to get a bit faster by doing some 50m intervals on the minute. I can barely keep up with that though so I need to get faster! I also did a 300m time trial and it took me 6 min 45 sec. Which isn't too bad, but I would like to get it faster! I think that calculates to about 3 points for 30 minutes of swimming.
Got my Freggies and water points for 2 as well.
Aimed to get up early for a run along the Yarra in Melbourne, but I slept instead. Such a slacker. It was not a very nice day but I did manage to get out in the afternoon for a run and I got a chance to use my new lululemon shorts - they are the "long" version, but I am still getting used to running in shorts, they are awesome. I only did 3.2 miles (5km) but a good run none the less. I also forgot my Garmin and Polar HRM when I came down to Melbourne (plus my ipad too - such a fail!) plus only 1 point for water.
Thought I would end up getting home early but I forgot you can't change flights when you have already checked your bag, so this was a rest day. Eating at the airport also meant I missed my Freggies but got my water and FB activity in. So just 2 points for the day.
I spent the whole day cleaning, what a waste, not to worry I got my Freggie an water in and did 40 minutes of stretching in the evening while watching TV. That foam roller is not my friend but I love it so... 4 points
So that was a total of 29 points for the week.
Aims for this week were to get more running and general activity points as my exercise has been a little lackluster lately but we can regroup!
