This was our shopping collection from a day at the Las Vegas outlets!
So, my key tips for handling the sales?
1. Wear light loose fitting clothes that are easy to take off. The last thing you want to be doing is struggling with a complicated pant arrangement when you are trying things on in a rush. It also helps for ladies to wear a skirt or dress. In a pinch it is easier to pop the pants on under your dress rather than lining up for the fitting rooms.
2. Take a bag that keeps your hands free. Not necessarily a back pack, but something that is easy to throw over your shoulder is helpful so you always have 2 free hands. On that, I also bring the shopping bags from the supermarket so I can keep those over my shoulder, the bags the stores give you are so awkward!
3. Do not drive. If you can, get public transport or grab a lift to the shops. Parking will be the biggest issue!
4. Have a list. I don't mean a super specific list, but a general idea of things you need is a good spot to narrow your searches. This year on my list? Black flats, nude closed toe pumps, a dress I have been eyeing off from Veronika Maine, new underwear, dressy tops for over jeans and shorts for Marcus.
Then you might end up with a pile a little like this when you get home! This is my haul from last year.
