So I thought I would combine two ideas this week for Fitness Friday and tell you about some of the interesting things I have been reading around the web lately.
Holiday Booty Buster Challenge - I finally managed to get in on this action before it closed this year. It is in its 6th year and runs for 8 weeks from November 17th to January 5th. There are prizes randomly but mainly just a way of keeping accountable through the holiday season! You get points for eating your vegetables, working out and drinking water. Tips for choosing a Personal Trainer - Jess over at Blonde Ponytail has written some great tips on things to consider when looking for a PT. She has definitely hit the nail on the head with finding someone you feel comfortable with but at the end of the day it is only 1 or a few hours a week you are spending with them and what is really important is what you do for the other hours in the week. I am working with a PT at the moment and I absolutely love every session with her. We have worked on my goals together to make sure they were realistic.
Fitbit Review - If you follow me on Instagram you would have seen that I have a new FitBit One - I absolutely love it. I did the Global Corporate Challenge earlier in the year and found it really motivating to up my incidental exercise. There is a great review on DC Rainmaker - in case you haven't seen this blog get involved! It is an amazing blog where Ray does the most amazing reviews of all the latest technology on the market.
Organic vs Non-organic - Did you know there are 12 foods that absorb more pesticides and 15 foods that absorb far less. There was an interesting article in the Sydney Morning Herald a few months back that is really interesting.
Also, this isn't really fitness related but I am in love with this new fashion blog I just found - The Classy Cubicle.
