At the moment I am only accountable to myself for the workouts I do and those that I don't do. Like Friday morning when I was going to go to the gym or ride to work and it was far far warmer in bed and Marcus and I were sore and tired and achey from a tough Thursday double (triple for Marcus) so we stayed in bed for a little while longer and before we knew it, it was time to get up or we would be late. So, if I am honest, I know that it won't last long if I don't have to report back on what I am doing. Also, I love reading about what everyone's workouts are on different blogs so that I can copy them or get some new ideas!
Monday - Rest day, but we ended up going for a quick 3km walk at night.
Tuesday - Slow Run Club, ended up being quite the quick run as we averaged 6:51/km (about 11 min/mile). Anything under 7min/km I am considering quick at the moment.
Wednesday - Gym Session
Thursday Double - Strength session in the morning (408 calories in 40 minutes for strength had me pretty happy) and social run with run club in the evening. I took out my new headlamp for a spin and I absolutely loved it! Considering that I don't run with my glasses on, it felt like a much safer run for me to be getting around with a well lit path in front of me.
Friday - Rest Day
Saturday - Run Club Handicap Race
Sunday - Rest Day
Overall quite a good workout week. With the Thursday double, I needed the extra rest days. Sunday wouldn't normally have been a rest except we had a few too many drinks on Saturday night and our pre-lunch workout didn't quite make it.
Although these flowers are particularly pretty! I may be slightly biased as orange is my favourite colour!
