According to many sources (see below), there are some key messages behind Pinks physique. Whilst some of it is a little hollywood, like a wellness shot and shakes made fresh, there are some things that we mere mortals can do to attempt to look remotely like someone who is able to workout for up to 2 hours a day 6 days a week:
Side Planks - According to one of her trainers, Greg, these are the 8th world wonder for women, they will shape your lower back, hips, bottom and abdomen - sounds good to me! I dont mind a few side planks. He recommends 3 x 1 min planks on each side three times a week.
Hydration - recommending a litre of water for every 31kg you weigh, so that puts me a little over 2 litres a day which is what my doctor and a lot of people recommend. Now to stick with it though! I think my beloved Camelbak drink bottle will help me get there - grab your own from Craigdon Mountain Sports, in pink of course.
Variety - mix things up, do a session in the gym, go for a hike, just generally get outdoors and enjoy the fresh air and hopefully sunshine. It is a little cool out there at the moment down here in the Southern Hemisphere, especially when I travel to Melbourne where it really takes your breath away. I am loving the half-zip technical Icebreaker gear. I find it nicer on my skin than the merino variety and yet still has all the benefits (anti-stink, warmth and breathability)
Diet - So it came as a surprise to me that I can't eat an unlimited amount of triple chocolate brownies and spoonfuls of almond butter and get a six-pack. So now I know where I have been going wrong and I will have abs like Pink in no time!
I wonder if her shows count as her workout time?
