I made my first smoothie last week! We have a beautiful blender we got for our wedding that has been put to good use with pastries, sauces and soups but not a single smoothie.
So, out came the blender and I made things up as I went along!
1/4 cup frozen raspberries
1/4 cup Greek yoghurt
1/2 milk
1 teaspoon vanilla protein powder
1 teaspoon chia seeds
Chucked it all in and blitzed! Deliciousness!
Next time - I will add in some ice, it was a little thick and quite a strong flavour.

I love smoothies! One of my favorite lunch ideas is picking up a Angelfood (aka Stawberry/Banana) smoothie from Smoothie King. But even though I love them, I've never really made even. And we also got one as a wedding present. I think a lot of that is because I'm not a big breakfast person, but could definitely see my self having one for lunch on the weekends. I guess I just need to start stocking up on frozen foods so I can make them myself.
