My work life and personal life are generally quite organised. However, this year, I am taking big steps to make our home much more organised. I will be the first to admit that our home could do with some help. One place that is getting out of control is our linen press. So, I took to Pinterest to get some ideas on how to organise a linen press.
Once I have worked out how to upload my pictures again (without going via my iphone and the blogger app), then I can show you how it went!
Giveaway!Personal Planners have offered my lovely readers the chance to win their own personal planner to the value of $45 (AUD). This competition is open internationally!

I absolutely love these planners and I am beyond excited that they are now in Australia! The coloured covers and pages really brighten up your day and the layout is very user friendly. You can even import all of your friends birthdays directly from Facebook! I know it is already January, but you can choose the start Month for these diaries so you can choose Feb/March or whenever suits.

New Years Day because I always spend it on holiday somewhere with my beloved and all of the Christmas stresses are over :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely idea Jemma! It is a similar situation for us, a nice day on the beach to relax!
DeleteI love Thanksgiving :) A fairly no-stress holiday with lots of good food and relaxation!
ReplyDeleteI love Valentines Day, it is the most romantic day of the year! :)
ReplyDeleteAh yes, very true! Good choice.
DeleteI also liked L&O on Facebook :)
ReplyDeleteThanks JordanRae, thanksgiving would be a fun day - we dont really have an equivalent down here in Australia. Kind of wish we did, all the fun of togetherness and yummy food without the stress of gifts!
DeleteI love this!!
ReplyDeleteFavorite Day --- Thanksgiving. Nothing beats food, fun & family.
Seems a popular one! Good choice!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite day of the year is probably my birthday!! I always try to do something fun and get together with family, or out to eat with my husband. It's just nice to have a day where you're appreciated!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite day of the year is ANZAC Day, especially now I am technically an 'army wife'! I love sitting in the freezing cold listening to the birds wake up and waiting for dawn to spread across the horizon. I love the solemness of the service and the haunting nature of the Last Post. I love watching the Gallipoli service on TV and being reminded how licky we are and how much people have sacrificed for our peace.

My favorite day is Christmas! Lots of family, delicious food and then giving and receiving presents to top it all off!
ReplyDeleteProbably Christmas and then my birthday :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite day of the year is the last day of school (I'm a teacher) That day is filled with so much anticipation and promise!
ReplyDeleteI do love the last day of work here too, but that is because of Christmas and New year summer holidays! Little different for school though - hello long summer holidays!
DeleteThe first day of summer! There is always such a promise of fun times, warm weather, and new adventures ahead!
ReplyDeleteLove summer! The first day is always so exciting thinking about all the days down the beach, late evenings in the warmth of the sunset. Makes me sad that summer is almost over for us!
DeleteI love New Year's day because everything feels fresh, new, and possible :)
ReplyDeleteFor me my most favourite day would have to be my mothers birthday! This is the day I thank god most for my mother entering this world!
ReplyDeleteI love this day because I get to spoil my mum and make her feel special, loved and appreciated!
I know it's not a typical holiday like Christmas etc but trust me, this day is just as grand a celebration!
The first day of my yearly holiday... all the counting Down and planning is over and there is the promise of excitement and adventure of learning new things meeting new people and enjoying yourself. Plus no work stresses!!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite day is mothers day, because it's the only weekend I get to go home to NZ to visit mum!
