Sweet Treats for our neighbours

I have always wanted to bake some sweet treats to give to our neighbours at Christmas time. This year I actually have the time and the baking repertoire to complete this task on my 30 before 30 list!

26. Make sweet treats for Christmas and give them to our neighbours

Im not sure who to give them to though, we live in units and we have 4 units on our level and we know them all on a first name basis. Then there is another 4 directly above us (completing our little block) and we only know one guy up there and we dont know his first name. So, I think it could be a nice little ice-breaker to get us talking to the rest of our neighbours. Now, the next big question is, what do I bake?

I am tossing up between my trusted brownies, some shortbread or something completely different like biscuits (cookies for US folks)? Or a mix of all of them?
