So, here I am to attempt to save the Secret Santa/Kris Kringle or whatever you call it in your town. Here are some fun gifts that are useful and fit into the usual $10-$15 cap instilled on these sorts of thing!
Christmas Ornaments - no one in their right mind would spend $10 or $15 on a decoration for their own tree, but let me tell you, they look beautiful and will come in handy every year!
Gift Vouchers - It may seem silly to buy someone a gift voucher for a small amount, but it is really useful! I got a $10 music store voucher last year and it brought the price of my Harry Potter Playstation game down by $10! Too easy!
Soap - everyone uses soap, sure that is a given. However in most homes it is the run of the mill grocery store kind that smells delightfully like, well, soap. This is definitely one of those gifts that fall into the "I wouldnt spend that much if it was for me" categories. Splash out, it will be good quality and last for a few months!
Something for their desk - There are a few things that fall into this category but it is basically covering things that will brighten their day at work that you can't get from the stationary cupboard:
- A fancy pen
- A water bottle
- new coffee cup
- some bright coloured post-its
- a day to day desk calendar eg a sudoku a day, puppy a day, etc.
Now, I need your help! What else can I add to the list?
