The lovely team at Soup tasked with the job of reviewing the new Honda Hybrid. The model I chose was the Honda Insight, as it was somewhere between a 4WD/SUV and a sports car, which was pretty much what we had with our old Mazda 3 before he went to a home in the country.
|Insight loved the early morning gym sessions.|
So, I have been driving around town in this bad boy for the last 2 weeks and learning a whole lot of stuff about hybrids and cars in general really. It was a very comfortable car to drive, I mainly drive to work, hospitals and the airport and this car got its fair share of all three.
That is my international standard cabin size bag and an umbrella in the boot for comparison of size.
Stephen, Father-in-law - "It drives well once it gets going" I could not agree more, the smooth drive was beautiful. The main difference between this car and most cars that I have driven is that the engine switches off... all. the. time. If you slow down in traffic, if you stop at lights, if you are rolling down a hill. It takes a little getting used to. I actually thought I had stalled when I first pulled up, then I realised I was in an automatic.
The little car loved early mornings and late evenings at the airport too.
