Despite the delayed epiphany about my current age, have actually ruled off a few boring ones lately:
14. Consolidate all my super (aka 401K)
I also changed my name and completed my binding death certificate, very exciting stuff.
15. Write a will
This was a lot easier than I expected, I just booked in with a lawyer in the end and it was all done and dusted in a matter of 30 minutes. I just need to go back and sign everything with 2 independent witnesses and it's finished.
I have also done a few creative ones too though:
9. Take a sewing course: Done May-June 2012
I have taken a sewing course, still need to write the blog post about that one.
11. Read 30 books
I have read the infamous 50 Shades of Grey and I am getting through The Street Sweeper now. I have just done a blog post on some books waiting on my Kindle.
27. Make our home "homely".
Success! I think so anyway! New post coming up on this one.
We are definitely getting there. I have a few that I have not made any progress on that I would really like to do very soon:
18. Make my own bread
I am planning on making some this month, just for the sake of it. I really think it will be delicious for super fresh bread.
19. Enjoy a picnic with Mr Olive
Maybe I can use that bread for our picnic?
26. Make sweet treats for Christmas and give them to our neighbours
Im thinking of shortbread for this one, see how it goes. I will definitely need to do this one this Christmas though because next Christmas I will be 30... eep!
30. Make Mr Olive Clam Chowder
Since our cooking lesson, I am now very clear on how to work with clams so this one can't be too far away. Is it a hot or a cold weather meal though?
You're making great progress! I need to step it up on my list too because I only have 11 more months.
