I arrived to be greeted to a beautiful long table for my kitchen tea, the teapots were put to good use! Mum got quite creative with theming up the champagne glasses. She also managed to find some gorgeous little blue wedding cake candles!
Then the food started coming out, all the photos still don't do it justice! It was absolutely amazing, there was so much beautiful food and that was just the start of it. You may also notice my Mum's creativity showing through in some unusually shaped shortbread in there!
Next up was my favourite bridal shower game which I know a lot of brides love - the toilet paper wedding dress! We had so much fun with this one, we went through quite a lot of toilet paper too! Of course I was lucky enough to be on the winning team (what a surprise when my Mum and my soon to be Mother in Law were the judges?).
It was so lovely to have all my girlfriends around to share such a wonderful afternoon and evening. We had such a fun time and it is so nice for everyone to meet before the wedding! Here are a few pictures of my lovely ladies:
E, Mum, T
C, A and R - primary school friends!
E, Future Mother in Law and S
The whole kitchen tea had a floral theme so everyone went all out and hair flowers were all the rage as well as some beautiful floral dresses.
Of course my champagne glass is very bridal!
Look out for what happens later in the night! It gets a little more wild than a cup of tea and a teacup!
